  • George Foreman - A Thug Turn Boxer
    The two-time American World heavy weight Boxing Champion, George Foreman, was once a thug! This is not the only trivia or distinction Forman carries with him. He is the only boxer in history to win a major heavyweight title at an age of 45, when he knocked out 26 year old Michael Moorer in 1994 in Los Vegas, Nevada. George Edward Foreman was born on 10 January 1949 in Marshal, Texas to Nancy Foreman, his biological father was Leroy Moorehead, but he was raised by J.D. Foreman whom his mother married when he was a kid.
  • Mohammad Ali- 'I am the Greatest'

In the early 60s, when boxing was mostly controlled by the mobs, Ali appeared in the ring and changed the face of this punching sport. At the age of 18, Ali traveled to Rome to compete in the 1960 Olympics in light and heavy weight divisions.

South Korean Park Tae Hwan’s coach has announced to the world over Thorpe’s World record. May be Beijing will see a new World Record eclipsing Thorpe’s 3:40.08 time but Thorpe’s achievements in the aquatics looks far from others reach.
