Usain Bolt came to Olympics with two tags: fastest man and a party animal. He has lived with both. His 100-meter win and celebrations following it justified the labels. He loves partying and does the same on track. His on-field gestures have that Caribbean flair and repeated them on Tuesday night during the semifinal heats of his favored 200-meter race.

Just before the semifinal heat of 200-meter, Bolt played to the cameras and slowed down in the middle but still managed to beat rivals who were giving much more than him to the chase.
He hasn’t been blazing in Beijing Olympics, but he promised he will go in tonight’s final. And if he does so he will surely be much ahead than his fellow runners.

Bolt won his semifinal heat in 20.09 seconds and kept the chances alive to repeat the Carl Lewis’s double sprint of 1984 Olympics.
To beat the world record of 19.32 set by Michael Johnson in Atlanta Games of 1996, Bolt has to get off his blocks quickly and needs to run full cylinders in Bird’s Nest.

Bolt set a world record in 100-meter at 9.69 on Saturday, and last evening he defeated the defending champion Shawn Crawford by 0.03 seconds. What was remarkable in that race was the effort placed by two players; While Bolt appeared looping, Crawford was running full speed.
