An Olympic stadium that has a shape of birds nest, a swimming venue literally built on bubbles and National Indoor Stadium located in the southern part of Olympic village resembles the unfurled traditional Chinese folding fan.
  • BEIJING SHOOTING RANGE HALL
  • Each architecture at Olympic Green reflects ancient Chinese culture and tradition. Beijing shooting Range Hall has the design of hunting bow, a symbol strongly related to the history of sports which shares a close relation with mandarin traditions.
  • PEKING UNIVERSITY GYMNASIUM
  • Located in the north of China’s Silicon Valley, Peking University Gymnasium is just 8 km away from the Olympic Village and will be the home for table tennis championship for Beijing Olympics 2008.
  • BEIJING OLYMPIC BASKETBALL GYMNASIUM
  • The Wukesong Indoor Stadium the local name for Beijing Olympic Basketball Gymnasium will be hosting qualifying and finals of Beijing Olympics this August. The court has the standards that could be matched with NBA.

  • BEIJING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY GYMNASIUM
  • The University of Science and Technology Gymnasium comprises of a central gymnasium (50m X 25 m), swimming pool and has a total building area of 24,662m. Gymnasium has a capacity of accommodating 8,012 spectators for events of Judo and Taekwondo for summer Olympics and Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Basketball for Paralympic Games.
  • BEIJING UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY GYMNASIUM
  • It is a five story building which covers 66,124 meters and has the capacity to hold 7, 508 spectators out of which 1,741 are temporary seats. Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium will host Badminton and rhythmic gymnastics.
  • CHINA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY GYMNASIUM
  • Is one of the first venues that saw completion for Beijing 2008 Olympics. China Agricultural University Gymnasium is located in eastern campus and is built on 24,000 square meters to hold a capacity of 8,500 people.
  • LAOSHAN VELODROME
  • One more artistic design in the Olympic Green, Laoshan Velodrome is a classic racing track with a tomb that has the shape of spoked front wheel of a racing bicycle. The central spokes lead to an outside supportive translucent membrane cover. A perfect design for Velodrome.
